Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring hours of service, and maintaining accurate logs. Transport dry van freight across warehouses in AZ, CO, IL, TN, FL, NC, MD, NJ, and MA, coordinating with your co-driver to manage driving and rest schedules while verifying load counts, seals, and paperwork at every pickup and delivery. Average 4,200 to 5,000 miles weekly on round-trip routes with weekly home time. Maintain equipment cleanliness, report mechanical issues promptly, and represent the client professionally at all customer locations.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements
- Hold a current DOT medical certification
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Acceptable safety history
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Comply with all federal testing requirements throughout employment
- Live in Southern California
- Have personal transportation to and from the Colton terminal
