Job Summary
CDL A Tanker Driver roles based out of the Blair(Omaha) NE terminal offering Company Driver and Owner Operator options. Most loads are pre-loaded, with Hazmat-endorsed drivers encouraged. Eligible routes include Local (home daily or one night out), Regional (2–4 days out), and OTR (5+ days). Pay includes hourly load/unload pay and top pay by percent of linehaul, with comprehensive benefits (health/Dental/Vision, PTO, 401k, life insurance). Terminals support safety incentives and driver referrals; benefits include PPO health insurance, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and 401k with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement from state of residence
- Hazmat Endorsement strongly preferred
- Valid Passport preferred (Canada deliveries available)
- 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience under a DOT-certified carrier
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years; no more than 2 in the last 12 months
- No preventable DOT recordable crashes within the last 3 years
- No major traffic violations within stated lookback periods: Reckless/careless driving last 5 years
- DWI/DUI last 5 years
- Hit and run / leaving the scene of an accident last 5 years
- Excessive speeding (15+ mph over posted limit) last 3 years
