Job Summary
Heniff Transportation seeks CDL A Tanker Drivers for Company Driver and Owner Operator roles based at our Blair, NE terminal. The role involves food-grade Hazmat tank hauling with preloaded loads (most loads are pre-loaded), local/regional/OTR options, and home time with potential weekends at home. Compensation features top pay by percent of linehaul, hourly load/unload pay, and benefits including health/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and a safety incentive. Requirements include the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, a valid Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement, Hazmat endorsement (preferred), passport (preferred), and 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement from state of residence
- Hazmat Endorsement strongly preferred
- Valid Passport preferred (Canada deliveries available)
- 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience under a DOT-certified carrier
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years; no more than 2 in the last 12 months
- No preventable DOT recordable crashes within the last 3 years
- No major traffic violations within stated lookback periods: Reckless/careless driving last 5 years
- DWI/DUI last 5 years
- Hit and run / leaving the scene of an accident last 5 years
- Excessive speeding (15+ mph over posted limit) last 3 years
