Job Summary
Operate as a solo or team OTR truck driver on modernized dry van fleets, running dedicated freight primarily between Chicago and the East Coast while maintaining strict ELD compliance. Manage daily routes with a focus on safety and on-time delivery, utilizing either a percentage-based line-haul pay structure or a per-mile compensation model. Maintain a clean MVR, pass regular drug screenings, and adhere to all DOT regulations and company work ethic standards. DSL Express offers 24/7 dispatch support, modern equipment with built-in mechanic shops, and amenities including a lounge and kitchen at the Chicago depot. The role requires full-time commitment with performance-based bonuses for safety and inspections, and drivers are expected to be motivated professionals willing to work demanding OTR schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 2+ years CDL experience
- Clean MVR
- Reasonable PSP report
- Valid medical card
- Stable work history
- Good references
- No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 4 years
- No DWI's, DUI's and BAC's in the last 4 years
- No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years
- No license suspension for points, unpaid tickets in the last 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations during the last year
- Valid CDL Class A without pending suspensions
- Ability to work with modern ELD systems
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be healthy and able and willing to work
- Must provide no less than 3 years of work history
- Must be able to work with modern ELD systems

- Must have a valid medical card issued
- Must have a stable work history and good references
- Must have no more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years
