Job Summary
Conduct OTR solo and team trucking on dedicated dry van routes with Chicago area partners. Operate modernized fleets, primarily automatic, while managing ELD compliance and adhering to strict safety standards. Deliver freight under percentage or miles pay structures, with performance directly tied to weekly earnings and seasonal peaks. Maintain clean MVR/PSP records and demonstrate strong work ethic, as the role demands full-time commitment and professional reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 2+ years CDL experience
- Clean MVR
- Reasonable PSP report
- Valid medical card
- Stable work history
- Good references
- No more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 4 years
- No DWI's, DUI's, or BAC's in the last 4 years
- No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years
- No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in the last 3 years
- No less than 3 years of work history
- Valid non-driving work history for the past 3 years
- Ability to work with modern ELD systems
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be healthy and able and willing to work
- Must be able to work OTR (implied by 'OTR Truck driving is a demanding job' and 'Must have a valid CDL Class A' context)
- Must be able to work weekends (implied by 'Don't expect to want to be home weekends and make OTR money')
