Job Summary
Operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles or triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards, along with other duties as assigned. You may be required, on an as-needed basis, to unload or deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record and the ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for highway traffic, official inquiries, and report entries. Most drivers are home daily with excellent pay, paid vacation, and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds occasionally
