Job Summary
Operate a tractor-trailer to transport doubles or triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards. On an as-needed basis, unload and deliver various products to customer locations along an assigned route schedule. Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a driving record meeting company insurability standards. The role requires reading and speaking English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand traffic signs. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and pass employment testing. This position involves lifting, pushing, or moving product weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally. Drivers work night shifts and are home daily with excellent pay and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Pass employment testing
- Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver license
- driving record that meets company insurability standards
- Must be able to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds occasionally
