Job Summary
Operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles or triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards. Unload and deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule as needed. Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a driving record meeting company insurability standards. Read, speak, and write English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete report entries. Lift, push, or move product weighing 40–100 pounds occasionally. Work night shifts with a home-daily schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Pass employment testing
- Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver license
- driving record that meets company insurability standards
- Must be able to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds occasionally
