Job Summary
Safely transport materials between terminal and customer locations while following delivery schedules based on customer production needs. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance at all times, and communicate with dispatch and operations teams. Operate equipment on local shuttle routes with home daily status, touching freight for chaining and strapping loads only—no loading or unloading. Work the 2nd shift from 2pm to 11:30 pm with typical overtime of 1-5 hours per week. Join a union position with benefits through Teamsters Local 299, where seniority-based route bidding occurs every six months.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Clean driving record with strong safety history
- Ability to meet DOT requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- T2T (Train-to-Train) program required for recent graduates
