Job Summary
Conduct overnight deliveries in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois from Sunday through Thursday, starting at 11:00 pm with a typical 10-hour workday. Operate a late-model automatic truck with air-brakes endorsement, performing drop-and-hook operations at Birch Run or Gaylord before handling local deliveries. Unload pallets using a manual pallet jack and occasionally hand unload, lifting up to 50 lbs. Work 40-50 hours per week with overtime pay after 40 hours, returning home daily. This role supports Vine Line Produce's Midwest produce distribution network, offering weekly direct deposit pay and comprehensive benefits starting 60 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have 6 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Drivers cannot have more than 6-points on their driving record at one time
- Air-brakes endorsements required
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Must be flexible with route changes
- Drivers must live within 40 miles of Comstock Park, MI or be willing to relocate for this position
