Job Summary
Deliver product within assigned route schedules and time windows while operating a 48 ft. Refrigerated Tractor Trailer across NYC, NJ, and CT under supervision. Unload merchandise using hand trucks and maintain Department of Transportation rules throughout the route. Provide excellent customer service by meeting client needs during delivery. This role requires overtime, weekend, and holiday work with evening start times, including two consecutive days off per week. Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and a current DOT Medical Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience driving tractor trailers
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Possess and able to present a valid (non-expired) interstate DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
- Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query
- Operate a 48 ft. Refrigerated Tractor Trailer with the supervision of an experienced company driver throughout NYC, NJ and CT based on assigned route
- Ability to unload 50lbs-60lbs boxes from the truck manually
- Ability to push or pull or push 100lbs-200lbs with a hand truck
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- 21+ years of age
