Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers regionally to transport general commodities and hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and ensure paperwork is complete. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; and assist with on-site customer interactions. HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Requires High School Diploma or GED and a valid Class A CDL; TWIC card preferred not required. The position includes weekly home time and a comprehensive benefits package, with pay structured as mileage-based compensation plus bonuses.
