Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight regionally (Dry Van). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as needed); maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment in good condition. Compensation includes mileage-based pay with a starting rate and a safety bonus potential, plus comprehensive benefits and paid time off. Active emphasis on reliability, safety-consciousness, time management, and clear communication with dispatch and customers.
Required Qualifications
