Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including hazmat and temperature-sensitive cargo, on regional routes with home time on weekends. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, maintain DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet delivery windows, and communicate with dispatch. Maintain equipment and provide professional service to customers; this role emphasizes safety, time management, and teamwork on the road and in the yard.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
