Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including general commodities and specialized cargo, with regional routes and home weekends. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, time management, clear communication with customers and dispatch, and teamwork.
