Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes to transport freight, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and a clear communicator with customers and dispatch; ability to work as part of a team and handle paperwork accurately; HazMat loads and related procedures are included.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
