Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized freight regionally. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, and follow hazmat handling procedures. Maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Be reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong communicator with dispatch and customers; a team player on the road and in the yard.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required.
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- TWIC card preferred not required.
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
