Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including general commodities and hazmat/temperature-sensitive cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; verify bills of lading and obtain signatures; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Regional lanes with home every weekend; starting pay 25% of line haul with potential increases (90 days to 28%); benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and HazMat certification cost covered. Equipment includes modern LT trucks with comfort features.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
