Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight regionally (regional lanes 400–500 miles from Wooster, OH). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; assist with paperwork and signatures; conduct basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and a clear communicator; team player who coordinates with dispatch and customers. Requires valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; High School Diploma or GED; DOT/FMCSA physicals compliance.
