Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight including general commodities and specialized cargo, with regional routes and home-time schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load/secure cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Requires a valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Strong time management, safety-consciousness, and clear communication with customers and dispatch. Company-provided equipment includes LT trucks with amenities to support driver comfort.
