Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport regional freight across Wooster, OH-area lanes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and communicate professionally with customers and dispatch. Demonstrates reliability, time management, and safety-conscious teamwork to support regional operations and on-time deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
