Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) hauling dry freight; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; conduct basic vehicle maintenance; stay safe, professional, and communicative with customers and dispatch; weekly home time with various pay components (mileage-based pay and bonuses); HazMat loads handled; benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
