Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional Dry Van routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) hauling freight, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight, maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, with strong time management and clear communication; must be a team player with customer-facing professionalism. Benefits include paid orientation, weekly home time, HazMat cert coverage, 401(k), and paid vacation; compensation includes mileage pay with an initial minimum weekly amount and potential for more, plus safety and stop-pay bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
