Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including general and specialized cargo, across regional routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly. Load, secure, and inspect cargo with handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment compliant and clean. 3 duty-ready qualifications include a valid Class A CDL and HS Diploma/GED; HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Home weekends based on route; equipment includes modern long-haul truck features. Strong emphasis on reliability, safety, and clear communication with dispatch and customers.
