Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional lanes to transport general commodities and specialized freight, including hazmat. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, and report defects. Maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Demonstrate reliability, safety focus, clear communication with dispatch and customers, and a team-oriented approach to on-road and yard operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
