Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional lanes to haul dry freight, conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (including hazmat), maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Demonstrates reliability, safety-mindedness, strong time management, clear communication with customers and dispatch, and teamwork on the road and in the yard. Fully explains the role includes regional travel with pay structure based on mileage and yard-to-yard responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
