Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry freight regionally (Seven Hills, OH area). Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight when applicable), maintaining accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and a clear communicator with customers and dispatch; must be a team player and able to work to meet tight schedules. Compensation features mileage-based pay with starting and experienced rates, bonuses, and additional pay for stops, detentions, and other factors; minimum weekly earnings are $1,350 with opportunities to earn more.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required.
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- TWIC card preferred not required.
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
