Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional lanes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading/securement of cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight when applicable), maintaining logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and communication with dispatch, with compensation based on mileage (0.54–0.60 per mile) and a minimum weekly earnings potential, plus bonuses and benefits such as orientation, paid vacation, 401(k), and health coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
