Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized cargo regionally; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and ensure paperwork is complete; plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; strong safety focus and clear communication; team-oriented and reliable with customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
