Job Summary
Regional CDL A Company Driver needed to operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (roughly 400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) hauling dry freight with a safety-forward team. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintaining DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation, verifying bills of lading, planning routes to meet delivery windows, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, strong time-management, clear communication with customers and dispatch, and a safety-conscious mindset. Compensation includes mileage pay with experience tiers, a quarterly safety bonus, weekly home time, and comprehensive benefits; HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Education requirement: High School Diploma or GED; DOT physical and other regulatory requirements must be satisfied. Equipment includes modern long-haul tractor-trailers with standard amenities, and company-paid HazMat certification costs.
