Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional lanes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH), transporting general commodities and hazmat/temperature-sensitive freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; report defects or violations; maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and obtain signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; occasional unloading assistance. Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, time management, and clear communication with customers and dispatch. Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required; TWIC card preferred but not required; requires valid DOT/FMCSA physicals.
