Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized cargo on regional routes; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean; requires valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred not required; TWIC card preferred not required; High School Diploma or GED; DOT/FMCSA physical requirements; strong time management, clear communication with dispatch and customers, and teamwork emphasized.
