Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight regionally, including general and specialized cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs and paperwork (bills of lading, signatures). Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate with dispatch. Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, time management, and customer communication; team-oriented, professional driving across regional lanes with home time on weekends. Equipment includes fully equipped trucks with amenities; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid vacation with growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
