Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including hazmat or temperature-sensitive cargo, on regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment in good condition. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team with professional interaction with customers and dispatch. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, High School Diploma or GED; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; DOT/FMCSA physical requirements must be met.
