Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) hauling dry freight. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load securement, hazmat handling procedures if applicable, maintaining HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verifying bills of lading, route planning to meet delivery windows, and basic vehicle maintenance. Must have a valid Class A CDL and a high school diploma or GED; HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required; DOT/FMCSA physicals required. Strong time management, clear communication with dispatch and customers, and safety-conscious teamwork are emphasized. The role offers paid orientation, weekly home time, a $1,000 transitional bonus, and a benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision and a 401(k) plan; compensation includes mileage pay with potential bonuses and overtime, with a stated minimum weekly earnings of $1,350 and potential for more.
