Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional lanes to haul freight, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight when required), maintaining hours-of-service logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conducting basic vehicle maintenance. Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch; work as part of a team; must have a valid Class A CDL (HazMat endorsement preferred but not required); HS diploma/GED; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays; company provides HazMat certification costs and equipment amenities. Routes are regional with 400–500 miles travel from Wooster, OH, with weekly home time; no East Coast lanes or long-haul; paid orientation; detention and stop pay; additional pay for various driver-type scenarios.
