Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight including general commodities and hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load and secure cargo; follow hazmat handling procedures; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; communicate professionally with customers and dispatch; work as a reliable, safety-conscious team player on regional lanes with home time options.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
