Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional dry-van lanes (400–500 miles from Marion, OH) for Wooster Motor Ways. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as applicable); maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailers clean. Requires a valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; HS diploma or GED. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and bonuses; pay is mileage-based with starting and experienced rates plus safety bonuses. Weekly home time; equipment includes modern tractors with comfort features; initial HazMat certification costs covered by the employer.
