Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized freight regionally. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat/temperature-sensitive as applicable); maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and keep paperwork accurate; plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; and uphold safety and customer-service standards. Requires High School Diploma or GED and a valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred not required; TWIC card preferred not required; strong time management, communication, and teamwork. Home weekly on regional lanes; competitive pay structure with additional pay for stops, detention, and other driver-type tasks.
