Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized cargo regionally, with home-time on weekends. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and ensure paperwork is complete. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; communicate professionally with customers and dispatch; work as a team player to ensure safe, on-time deliveries. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
