Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight regionally (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) including hazmat or temperature-sensitive loads; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load/secure cargo, report defects, maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows; maintain basic vehicle maintenance and customer communications; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid vacation, and bonuses; weekly home time and various pays (base mileage pay, safety and stop pay) as described in the posting; minimum requirements include a valid Class A CDL and high school diploma or GED, with HazMat endorsement preferred but not required.
