Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight on regional lanes. Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/secure cargo (hazmat when applicable), maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and communicate effectively with customers and dispatch. Compensation features mileage-based pay with regional routes and additional pay for stops, detention, hazmat loads, and other allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required.
