Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight regionally (powdered cement) with home weekly options on some routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight, maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading and paperwork, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Demonstrate reliability, time management, clear communication with dispatch and customers, and teamwork to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
