Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight (general commodities and hazmat/temperature-sensitive cargo) on regional routes with home every weekend. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load/secure cargo, and follow hazmat procedures. Maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, HazMat certification paid by the company, and competitive pay structure starting at 25% of line haul with increases to 28%. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL and HS diploma or GED; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; DOT/FMCSA physicals required.
