Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including hazmat or temperature-sensitive cargo, across regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures; maintain DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; demonstrate reliability, safety-consciousness, and clear communication with dispatch and customers; home weekly on weekends depending on route; additional pay opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
