Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes hauling dry freight; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo including hazmat as applicable, maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Demonstrate reliable, safety-conscious teamwork, clear communication with dispatch and customers, and a professional demeanor on the road. Requires a valid CDL with potential HazMat handling, compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements, and ability to work within a regional, 400–500 mile radius from Wooster, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
