Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load/secure cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and ensure paperwork is complete; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; conduct basic vehicle maintenance; strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and clear communication with dispatch and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
