Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized cargo on regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as needed). Maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment ready. Requires reliability, safety-mindedness, strong time management, clear communication with customers and dispatch, and being a team player. Regional role with home time on weekends; compensation includes weekly pay with potential increases and benefits including health coverage and retirement.plan
