Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized cargo on regional routes with home time on weekends. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as applicable); maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Effective communication with dispatch and customers; be a reliable, safety-conscious team player. Requires a valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required; High School Diploma or GED; DOT/FMCSA physicals required.
