Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized cargo on regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Requires professional communication with customers and dispatch; must be reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player. HazMat certification is provided/paid for by the employer; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and holiday pay. High School Diploma or GED is required. TWIC card is preferred but not required. DOT/FMCSA physicals must be passed and maintained.
